What my Heart Feels

With my mother tongue

I can express thoughts and feelings without any reservations or restrains

I can make the strong cry and the weak roar

I can enchant an unexpected moment

I can also make words feel delight and come to life

But ask me to write in my second language

I can only feel restrictions and lifeless emotions

I can only create basic words with no feelings to accentuate

I can only see words tangle up without any expressions on them

I also cannot sense what I write so I write what I cannot experience

Therefore, I cannot construct writing if my heart feels foreign
