i open its door
and I’m blinded by its whiteness
its walls were
white,
its sheets were
white,
and its
curtains were white
not much color reflected
back
but oh, its
window…
i spend two
days in that room
and in those
two days I spend some time contemplating the window
the inspiring
shape with its perfect squares, the imbedded glass, the opening and closing of
its old shape handle and its majestic serenity of an exposure to the outside or
to an inside
but oh, this
window said much more than its surrounding whiteness
this window
holds truth and beauty
holds wisdom and
knowledge
intertwined
with dreams
hold age
without any concern of aging
holds
reflections of a past, a present, and a future
and that is
when its view became surreal
i felt its time
and its true purpose of existence
in room 26
i realize that
it served as a time keeper for all
and there I was...
like a window expose
fearing time
like a window expose
fearing time
we are all like windows…to view from...
